  • Recommendation

    That the Minutes of the Regular Meeting of Council held August 6, 2024, be adopted as circulated.

  • Recommendation

    That “Zoning Bylaw Amendment Bylaw 2024, No. 5415” be adopted;

    and further, that the Minutes of the Public Safety Advisory Committee meetings held May 15, 2024 and June 19, 2024 be received for information.

  • Recommendation

    That Council award the Tender for "Household Hazardous Waste Collection Days" to Environmental 360 Solutions Ltd., in the estimated amount of $174,567.27 for the three-year term, commencing October 1, 2024 to October 31, 2026, with up to two additional, one-year terms; and further, that the Mayor and Corporate Officer be authorized to sign any necessary documentation.

  • Recommendation

    That Council receive for information the Liquor Primary Licence Application, from Chilliwack Refinery House Hair Studio Inc., located at 5622 Vedder Road; and further, that a Public Information Meeting be called for September 3, 2024, in order to receive public comment on the application.

    That "Zoning Bylaw Amendment Bylaw 2024, No. 5384", which proposes to rezone property located at 45419 Kipp Avenue from an R1-A (Urban Residential) Zone to an R1-C (Urban Infill) Zone, be given first and second reading.

    That "Zoning Bylaw Amendment Bylaw 2024, No. 5384", which proposes to rezone property located at 45419 Kipp Avenue from an R1-A (Urban Residential) Zone to an R1-C (Urban Infill) Zone, be given third reading.

    That "Zoning Bylaw Amendment Bylaw 2024, No. 5416", which proposes to rezone properties located at 9777 and 9795 Carleton Street and 46780 Yale Road from an R1-A (Urban Residential) Zone to an R5 (Low Rise Apartment) Zone, be given first and second reading.

  • Recommendation

    That "Zoning Bylaw Amendment Bylaw 2024, No. 5416", which proposes to rezone properties located at 9777 and 9795 Carleton Street and 46780 Yale Road from an R1-A (Urban Residential) Zone to an R5 (Low Rise Apartment) Zone, be given third reading.

  • Recommendation

    That “Official Community Plan Bylaw Amendment Bylaw 2024, No. 5423", which proposes to amend the Official Community Plan designation of the property located at 7949 Venture Place from "General Industrial" to "Mixed Commercial and Industrial", be denied.

  • Recommendation

    That "Zoning Bylaw Amendment Bylaw 2024, No. 5424", which proposes to rezone property located at 7949 Venture Place from an M3 (General Industrial) Zone to a CSM (Service Commercial Industrial) Zone, be denied.

  • Recommendation

    That "Official Community Plan Bylaw Amendment Bylaw, 2024, No 5428", which proposes to redesignate portions of property located at 8614 Nixon Road, from "Rural Hillside" and "Environmental Conservation" to "Residential - Low-Density" as per the Eastern Hillsides Comprehensive Area Plan, be given first and second reading; and further, that a Public Hearing be called for September 3, 2024.

    That "Zoning Bylaw Amendment Bylaw 2024, No. 5429", which proposes to rezone portions of properties located at 8614 Nixon Road and 8725 Veronika Place from an SR (Suburban Residential) Zone to an R3 (Small Lot Residential) Zone, be given first and second reading; and further, that a Public Hearing be called for September 3, 2024.

    That "Zoning Bylaw Amendment Bylaw 2024, No. 5431", which proposes to rezone property located at 4440 Wilson Road from an RR (Rural Residential) Zone to an R1-A (Urban Residential) Zone, be given first and second reading.
